But Yuichiro was quite different. He only thought about his brother and wanted to keep both of them alive in this cruel world.

One day while sleeping in their cabin the Tokito brothers were attacked by a demon. Yuichiro fought against the demon and saved his brother but was severely injured.
In a fit of rage, Muichiro got together all his strength and fought with the demon all alone throughout the night until sunrise. After the demon was turned to ash, he returned to his cabin and found Yuichiro almost dead and was still praying for the survival of his twin brother.
During his final moments, Yuichiro revealed the meaning of the Mu in Muichiro’s name. It meant infinity, and while holding the hands of his brother he passed away.
Amane found Muichiro, devastated and alone. He brought him back to Ubuyashiki. It left a lasting impact on Muichiro and made him a very complex character in the series.
